Micronipol respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes who we are, what we can use your data for, how we process it, who we share it with, and how long we keep it. It also explains how you can get in touch with us and how to exercise your rights.

Scope

The purpose of this policy is to inform the visitors and users of www.Micronipol.pt of the terms and conditions for the protection of their personal data in accordance with the Portuguese law (Lei n.º 58/2019, de 8 de Agosto) and EU regulations.

 

What kind, how and why do we process your personal data?

Micronipol processes your personal data in order to address any enquiries about products or services, suggestions, complaints or any other information you may require.

What do we process your data for?

When you fill in the forms available on our website, your personal data (such as your name, email address and any other data voluntarily submitted by you) are collected and processed to answer your questions and requests, or to provide you with information.

How long do we keep your information?

Our policy is to keep your data only as long as necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. Our compromise is to delete all information within 30 days after 1) the information has served its purpose and 2) you have asked us to erase it. The only exception being when the law requires, in which case we may keep your data for the time strictly necessary to comply with that particular legal requirement.

What are my rights?

At any time, you can:

  1. Ask for access to the information that we hold about you

As the data subject, you have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether the data relating to you is being processed or not and, if this is the case, to access your personal data and the information provided by law.

  1. Ask for the correction of the information if it is inaccurate or incomplete

As the data subject, you have the right to require Micronipol to correct any inaccurate or incomplete data that concerns you, without undue delay.

  1. Ask for the erasure of your personal data

As the data subject, you have the right to ask us to erase your data, without undue delay, and Micronipol is obliged to erase your personal data, without undue delay, in particular when one of the following reasons applies:

a) The personal data are no longer needed for the purpose for which they were collected or processed;
b) You withdrew your consent to the processing of your personal data (in cases in which the processing is based on consent) and there are no other grounds for this processing;
c) You oppose the processing and there are no prevailing legitimate interests that justify the processing.

  1. Ask for the limitation of the processing of your personal data

As the data subject, you have the right to ask Micronipol to limit the processing of your data if one of the following situations applies:

a) You challenge the accuracy of the personal data, for a period that allows Micronipol to check its accuracy;
b) The data processing is lawful, and the data subject opposes the erasure of the personal data and, instead, asks for its use to be limited;
c) Micronipol no longer needs the personal data for processing purposes, but these data are necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims;
d) If you have opposed the processing, even if it transpires that the legitimate reasons of the data controller prevail over those of the data subject.

Oppose the processing of your personal data

In cases where the data processing is carried out for the purpose of legitimate interests pursued by Micronipol; or 2) the data is processed for direct marketing purposes or 3) the data is processed to create profiles, you may also oppose the processing of your personal data at any time.

If the processing depends on your consent, you have the right to withdraw it.

If consent is legally required to process personal data, you, as the data subject, have the right to withdraw consent at any time. However, that right does not compromise the lawfulness of any processing carried out on the basis of consent previously given. Nor does it compromise the subsequent processing of the same data on another legal basis, as is the case of fulfilling any contract or legal obligation to which Micronipol is subject.

Your requests will be handled with particular care so that we can ensure the effectiveness of your rights. You may be asked to provide proof of your identity to ensure personal data is only shared with its data subject.

You should be aware that, in certain cases (for example, due to legal requirements), it may not be possible to deal with your request immediately.

In any case, you will be informed of the measures taken in response to your request within one month of the date the request is made.

We are committed to keeping your data secure, and we use appropriate security measures to ensure your personal data is protected and to prevent access by unauthorised persons. We regularly analyse our systems and security policies to ensure that your data are secure and protected. However, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted through our website.

We also respect the confidentiality of your information. Therefore, we do not sell, distribute or in any way make your information commercially available to any third party.
